Important Updates Regarding COVID-19

As of today, IEE’s operations remain open and should continue as normal with some modified operations.  Expedited Service times will remain available, and our standard processing time should remain around 10-15 business days from the time all required documentation, translation, application, and payment are received.

What is a Provisional Evaluation?

During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic and because the majority of our staff is working remotely, IEE will complete Provisional Evaluations based on electronic files uploaded by the client.

IEE does not typically complete evaluations based on scanned academic documents; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IEE has decided that it is in the best interest of our clients, staff, and community to make a temporary exception to this policy. All evaluations completed based on the COVID-19 documentation requirements will be labeled “Provisional”, and the acceptance of these evaluations are at the full discretion of the receiving institution or agency.

IEE will not issue an evaluation in the event that the documents presented exhibit features that suggest inauthenticity.

IEE will issue a new revised / updated report for free once original documentation is received in our office within 6 months of the original evaluation. If a client submits a request to update (based on original documentation) after 6 months following the initial report, the standard update fee will apply ($50 for document reports / $100 for course reports).  IEE recommends that the client immediately request original documentation to be sent given the uncertainty of institutional openings and closures.

Extra copy requests of Provisional Evaluations will only be honored while the COVID-19 provisions are in place.  No extra copies of Provisional Evaluations will be mailed upon expiration of these temporary provisions.

Office Hours / Operations:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic affecting our global community, and the Shelter in Place order issued by our local government, IEE will be not be accepting walk-in clients at our main office in Charlotte, North Carolina, or at our in-take location in Dallas, Texas. We are still available via phone, chat, and email.

Original documents may still be dropped off in person through the mail drop and must be accompanied by a reference number.

We remain thankful for every opportunity to serve the international community and appreciate our clients for their continued trust and support. We wish you all health, comfort and safety during this uncertain time and are here to serve you every step of the way.

Thank you,

David Haynes
