Disappointed. I was required to submit extra unnecessary materials before the evaluation was processed. The delivery was late. The promised investigation was not coming.

Details are listed below: Because I will use the degree evaluation for NIW application, my lawyer said that, my degree evaluation report shows my degree is listed as “Completion of advanced medical specialty training in Internal Medicine,” which confirms that it is considered specialty training rather than a full academic degree for NIW purposes. My concern is: I have sent my PhD degree certificate, student record, and education qualification certificate. Why is it not a standalone medical degree equivalent in the U.S.? I need my degree obtained upon completion of medical school is evaluated, rather than my specialty training degrees, are there any differences between my PhD degree certificate document and what I need? Please notice that specialty degree should NOT be used in my purpose, which is to fulfill the NIW advanced degree requirement, as it is generally not considered a full academic degree. I will be really appreciate if you can help me with this.

They were very responsive and helpful when I had issues with the documents and the processing of the papers. The issuing of the report was quite fast; it didn't even take a week.
Order process and documents submission seems to be straight forward. However would like to say IEE need to be aware that though evaluations are for US equivalence, processes and terms that exist in other countries will be different so this needs to be factered in and be mindful of. For example, in the the US there's accredidtion. In other countries there may be the term registration. The difference in that should be accounted for. It would be unfair for a cookie cutter approach being used and applied to situations where another term is used that essentially means the same thing or of similar application. An individual could be denied equivalence or a full evaluation becuase of a flawed approach. Also, it also must be understood that educationals systems and processes accrosss other countries will be differrent and should be accounted for. It's unfair to ask for something that only exist in America even though other countries may have similar processes or systems but goes by a different name. An example I can think of is of course College English 101. In America it may be English Composition 101. Essentially the same course with different title. Lastly, should be something in place to allow for a customer to elaborate on their situation if further details are needed to help understand thier situation. Saying a person need to provide this or that is one thing, but sometimes a cold email doesn't do justice to calrify thier situation. A human person would be great once the process has started and furthur details or claridfication is needed to be given. I think IIE process is straight forward and helpful, but must not allow a cookie cutter approach to miss other elements that may prove valuable in evaluating transcripts for other countries. Thanks.
